Strong marine rivets required. These worked great. Longevity in a freshwater environment remains to be seen, but shouldn't be difficult to replace if needed.

We used this to hold hardware sections together when assembling the geodesic dome chicken coop. Since we weren't connected around the edges, we couldn't use J-clips and the mesh size was too small to accommodate the tip of a Dewalt hog fence tool, but they fit the bill.

The front curb on the bumper of my car sagged. Upon inspection I found it was attached with this three-legged rivet that had come loose from the bumper. It looked like Pop Rivit but I've never seen anything like it. So I decided to go to Revane and see if I could find him. So I did, so I ordered and installed. Seems to hold up better than a regular pop rivet.
