Lid not waterproof

I would call it more waterproof. I wore it with a bikini top. It rained last night and when I took it off this morning the swimsuit top was wet. Previously I wore it without a bikini top and it ran through the dangling edges. 4 stars overall because it is 99% waterproof.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Interesting cover - external accessory

Not installed yet but the material looks like heavy gray denim. It seems well made and my cats love crawling under it. However, I decided to stitch them underneath before fitting it to my Jeep and did notice I could see light coming through (between the stitching). So there will be no rain or snow protection, but I think in light to medium rain the car should be dry. Once I install cj7 on my jeep I will write a sequel on the cover.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel

WARNING! - Not suitable for Jeep Wrangler 92-06!

This Revain product description says "This cab cover has been specially developed for all vehicles" but that's not true! This suitcase didn't even come close to fitting in my 1999 Jeep Wrangler. After not being able to install this on my Jeep, I checked some other Jeep product pages and found that it is a Rampage 1161 cover that fits a Wrangler 92-06. 1160 only fits Wrangler 87-91. This was not mentioned in the Revain product description! Now I have to try to figure out how to get my money…

Rampage 1160 PERFECT for 1990 Wrangler

Yes the 1160 is perfect for my 1990 wrangler with a bikini fitting. It's very busy at the moment but I think he'll relax sitting outside in the sun. It's a durable, waterproof gray fabric with a fleece lining. There are attached mounts that seem to suffice. It doesn't look like what you see in the overall Revain look. The 1990 roll sheets are configured differently than Pix and the lid is cut to fit. It is a WATERPROOF material and heavier than those that just keep out dirt/dust/leaves but let…

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Perfect. Just what I need!

Just received the cover and installed it in minutes. Fits perfectly on my 1990 YJ with SPORT handlebars. If you have a family style roll cage (1991 and up) it will not fit. As some have said, getting the installation orientation wasn't hard. If you have half doors like mine the lid has latches that attach to the latches on the doors, use these as a guide to figure out how to fit it. It's very tight at first and is meant to stretch a little to make it easier to put on the back straps. The only…
