Description of πŸš€ Enhance Your GM Vehicle with Range Technology's RA005B Start/Stop-Blue - Improved Performance and Efficiency

No more hesitation when restarting after stopping in traffic; when you're ready to go, you go. With start/stop disabled, your starting system won't be taxed nearly as much, saving you on costly repair bills in the future. In emergency traffic situations, you won't have to hope your vehicle starts quickly enough to get out of the way. Simply plug into your onboard OBD-II port and it instantly begins working to eliminate the Auto Start/Stop system. The Range Start/Stop Disabler does not reprogram your factory ECU. Fit type: Vehicle Specific.

Will not work on 2019 GMC Terrain Denali

Will not work on 2019 GMC Terrain Denali! Thought I might have a bad block and tried another with the same result! Does absolutely nothing on my terrain.

That does not work. - Engines and engine parts

We were told it would work on our 2020 Equinox but it didn't work at all. We were very disappointed as we don't like the start-stop function on the car. It was disappointing that it didn't work.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Good but not great

2021 Traverse Confirmed Working

2021 model not listed but works as advertised. I am not happy that they lowered the price from order to delivery and Revain says they will not refund the overpayment.

Cons
  • No Instructions

Great item for disabling AFM

Does exactly what it's supposed to do. It looks like the shift points have changed a bit on the 6 speed as well. My MPG has gone up a bit but I do a lot of freeway driving, I have CAI and an exhaust.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Appearance

Auto start/stop is still active.

Silverado 5.3 2019 LTSuper likes to use this module, but it disabled DFM. However, autostart/stop has not been disabled. I still have to press the button to turn it off every time I start my truck. I'm not sure if my module is defective or the range software is unable to override the physical button. Met half of my expectations.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

not worth your money. Poor Function

I have a Cadillac XT5 and although I love my car I wish there was a way to disable the start/stop function which is supposed to 'save gas'. This causes more wear and tear and in my opinion anyway we've found that this product is designed to scramble/catch the signal the vehicle is sending when it's about to turn on and break its shape, although it worked, but for now 4 weeks of using this device Clicked miss if it works properly or partially. For almost $200 this should work 100% all day every…

  • Excellent Design

Autostop is gone! on engine management systems

Plugged it into the OBD2 port on my 2020 Traverse and the annoying hitch-hike was gone. As far as I can tell, it didn't affect anything else. The remote start works fine, as does everything else. It's an LS, so nothing out of the ordinary about it. This will drain your battery if it's plugged in and the vehicle hasn't been driven for several weeks. Pull it out when you don't want to drive or use the remote start to charge the battery. Auto Stop made me nervous trying to get into traffic…

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others
