Sturdy gloves, excellent heat protection for use in a wood stove

I needed gloves that would allow me to add and move wood around in a large wood stove. It's better than any gloves I've bought so far. I don't know anything about durability yet; Other gloves are worn out in one season (holes in fingers). I can lift and carry firewood, but don't expect it to save me a penny. Even if they did wear out in a season, which I don't think will happen, I would still buy them as they offer the best protection against open flames and hot coals of any glove I've ever…

You have far exceeded my expectations.

Excellent protection from the heat of the coal in the wood stove as well as the metal of the stove when it gets inside. My old pair was shorter and clung to the stovetop and raised my hand so the burn mark was just below the tattoo. They are much longer and have double layers of leather where you need it. You can reach the stove while it's burning and don't have to rush because of the heat. I only use them to load the stove, not to stack firewood or bring it around the house etc. It serves a…

Excellent cast iron cookware gloves at a reasonable price

Good gloves for working with cast iron cookware. The multiple layers of leather really protect your hand for short periods and the large size makes it easy to put on and take off, making it a good combo when working with heat-retaining cast iron. At lower temperatures (350F) they will protect your hand for some time and can run on multiple pans in the oven when seasoning. At higher temperatures you don't have as much time, but still enough time to get them out of the oven onto a wire rack…

I received these gloves a few hours ago. Yesterday I spent too much time in the cold, so relax today. Gloves arrived (with other items) in perfect condition. According to another review I read, there was a noticeable difference in quality between the two gloves. First, the skin "looked" of high quality. On the other hand, the leather was a bit stiff with a few light scuffs, but I wouldn't rate it for that. I went through my usual process of warming up the gloves. The first glove (right hand…
