Why didn't I get this check valve sooner!

That LOUD KNOCK is a thing of the past every time the auxiliary pump is turned off. Didn't have to pay more for the clear plastic check valve as it is in the auxiliary pump basin.

Pros
  • Rough plumbing
Cons
  • Some trouble

Great Check Valve Solution

This is a great check valve solution for your sump pump. Mounting directly on the pump housing simplifies the piping and also makes venting unnecessary. I also like that the rubber joint allows for some tilt when aligning the tube. The valve is 100% silent, I can't hear it pop even when I'm standing next to the pump.

Cons
  • Low Maintenance

It's really quiet!

I confess I was skeptical of everyone who said this was "silence". but damn it is! Our septic tank is just below our living room. and we heard the "knock" of the closing check valve whenever it worked, but no more. Very good product, was a direct replacement for my Pro Series 2400 unit (primary and backup). and I hope to have many years of it. The old one was painful to pull off. but this one is on and working fine! Highly recommended. It's a bit more expensive than others, but it's worth it…
