For a while I used two simple smaller chargers that only work with AA and AAA batteries. I bought this to also charge C, D and 9V batteries. Interestingly I'm pretty sure this charger also gives the batteries more power as the batteries seem to last longer between charges than mine other chargers. I like the display that shows the charge level of each battery so you can change it based on the charge level of an individual battery on the go. Very happy with this product.

I had my doubts that the new non-rechargeable batteries would allow charging. I pulled 3 AAAs from a flashlight that didn't work. The batteries were empty. I commissioned her. 4 stars not 5 Because some of my AAA batteries are tricky to install you have to hang them just right to make contact. One of my main concerns is another charger I had that worked with both Lion and Nickel CDs, which caused my C-size AmazonBasics rechargeable brand to get VERY hot.
