4 stars not 5 Because some of my AAA batteries are tricky to install you have to hang them just right to make contact. One of my main concerns is another charger I had that worked with both Lion and Nickel CDs, which caused my C-size AmazonBasics rechargeable brand to get VERY hot. It was very important, so I bought it. This will charge both of them quickly and without overheating the batteries. Individual manhole levels are very useful. It can fully charge 4 dead C batteries in 4 hours I think. However, it works as expected and works well. I installed a larger charger than the one that came with it. I don't know if this will allow you to charge faster, but. Works perfectly. I hope he keeps working. There are also connections for 9 volt batteries, which is very convenient.
