- Lightweight and reliable scooter for the whole family
- no repair kit
- "Immortal", light, fast, maneuverable
- Hits on the ankle when you lift behind the wheel
- Rides great, easy to fold and unfold.
- The plastic lining on the front wheel quickly broke. It's really not clear why they are.
- Comfortable, lightweight, durable, foldable.
- When driving on paving slabs, it’s a little unpleasant, but I haven’t yet met a scooter that will be comfortable to ride on roughened surfaces.
- Unkillable. Easy. Once again unkillable. Big wheels.
- No footrest - will not stand on its own. The steering wheel does not fold. It interferes in transport, although keeping it in such a way that it would not cling is a matter of habit. Driving pleasure is highly dependent on the quality of the road. We need to plan a route. If you ride in winter - you need to tighten the fastener under the steering wheel - aluminum changes its density from temperature changes. Raw asphalt - wet feet.
- Weight, for different ages, wheels, quality
- I haven't noticed yet and I hope I don't notice
- Weight, maneuverability, ease of folding and unfolding.
- So far no complaints. Is that the price, but it probably took off for all models.
- Very smooth ride, picks up and holds speed well. Folds up comfortably. The latch does not get dirty. Folded very compact, you can safely ride with it in a crowded subway car, taking up a minimum amount of space and not dirtying anyone. When folded, you can quite conveniently put it both in a horizontal and vertical position (but in this position you need to either hold the steering wheel lightly or lean it somewhere). Good handlebar height. The maximum raised handlebar (until the steering lock clicks) at a height of 170 cm allows me to ride very gracefully with a fully straightened back.
- 1) The steering wheel rotates 360 degrees and is not fixed in any way when folding. Thus, in the folded state, it will not work just to keep it behind the wheel, since the entire platform dangles (rotates relative to the steering wheel) from side to side. 2) In continuation of point 2. It is very inconvenient to carry the scooter in the unfolded state behind the wheel, since again it rotates 360 degrees and the platform itself, unexpectedly turning relative to the steering wheel, can hit the legs painfully. 3) When you go to the metro, where there are a lot of people (or in other transport), and you hold a folded scooter behind the wheel, it not only dangles, but also strives to roll away somewhere, as it stands on one wheel. So that he does not go anywhere and does not hang around the steering wheel, you need to hold it with both hands. One hand holds the steering wheel, the other hand holds the upper wheel by the spokes. Since the needles are plastic and very large, this is not a problem. UP: I came up with a solution, you can put it at a slight angle and then it stands steadily in the wave leaning on the base of the steering wheel, where the folding mechanism is, but you still need to hold it . It is very difficult to ride on a dirt road, but a city scooter is not intended for this. Consider this when choosing.
- I apologize for the long review, but if this information is useful to at least someone, I will be very happy :) I scattered the information in the columns “Dignities”, “Disadvantages”, “Comment” in a strange way, because. the text of the review did not fit me :) "+" 1) AVERAGE V=17.5-19.5km/h, savings in T=20-25% compared to TAT 2) 4 seasons, 2236 km without a single breakdown, not a penny of investment 3) 3.86kg 4) For 4 seasons, 12504 were saved on TAT 5) Sea of "+" emotions from driving 6) Pleasant physical "-" 1) Driving in the rain is not kosher, a short rear wing (although driving in the rain is not nuno!) 2) The rear wheel champs (it does not affect the dynamics and safety!) 3) At 1700 km, the brake leaked, there is no spare for sale 4) The folding mechanism has backlash (however, there is a screw that regulates the backlash) Razor A5 Lux Blue I purchased on 03/21/2022 for 4190. a) Flew 4 seasons: 1) 03/24/2022-11/25/2022, 87 trips to work, S=505km, saved 199 trips on TAT for 2594 (TAT= 750, then 800) 2) 04/12/2022-11/14/2022, 84 departures, 571 km, saving 198 trips and 2812 (TAT = 850) 3) 04/17/2022-10/28/2022, 89 trips, 618 km, saving 202 trips and 3373 (TAT=1000) 4) 04/11/2022-10/19/2022, 83 trips, 542km, saving 194 trips and 3725 (TAT=1150) Total: 343 exits, 2236km, 12504! :) b) Vav: 1) In my 3rd season with already matured and never lubricated bearings, I walked 3km in 9min 10sec, taking into account traffic, AVERAGE V=19.6km/h (i. E. somewhere you spit 22km/h, where - something 18 km / h). 2) On the most broken asphalt, with many road crossings, Vav does not fall below 16 km/h for S=1-4 km. It should be borne in mind that for 18 years I have been involved in professional sports and have a CCM in athletics in sprint running :) c) I don't know any alternative > fast modes of transport than my scooter: 1) On a 250-350W electric scooter, Vmax = typically 20-25km/h (under ideal conditions) and Vavg will be lower! It's not a fact that the electric scooter is faster than the Razor A5 Lux! And the heavier one is for sure! :)
- 2) A folding single-speed Dahon on 16 wheels goes with practically the same V, but S overcomes a larger one: 10-20 km, against 5 km on a scooter (at S> 5 km, Vavg of a scooter falls). All the advantages of a folding bike disappear as soon as you start dragging it up the hump: 12.7kg compared to 3.86kg of the scooter is noticeable! 3) The manner of moving is similar to a motorcycle: you lick bibiks there, pedestrians here :) It's hard to believe, but on a scooter along T it turns out like on a motorcycle! After all, in the case of a motorcycle, you first need to open the shed, remove the cover, unfasten the locks, pull it out, start it, warm it up, put on equipment, get to work, wrap yourself in chains around a tree and change clothes. If you calculate all this, then “scooter + metro” = “motorcycle”, verified! :) d) The main amenities, why I bought a scooter: 1) From 1 hour trip (“metro + TAT”), 12-15 minutes are reset (“metro + scooter”), saving on T = 20-25%! :) 2) Saving money on travel! :) 3) A sea of “+” emotions from driving: these are barely trudging, these are sitting in their enameled basins, looking at each other in a traffic jam. You fly and feel like the smartest, fastest and freest, experiencing the joy of existence!:) 4) Nice physical-ra! :) e) Reliability: 1) I drive only in dry weather, it's disgusting in the rain. Yellow curbs for blind pedestrians, road markings and zebras turn into ice in the rain! Wet-unpleasant-uncomfortable, and the brakes disappear. From the rear wheel, splashes fly onto the pants, even if you go on foot and carry the scooter nearby. This is a well-known cant of this scooter, which the manufacturer does not want to fix :) 2) For all the time I DID NOT INVEST a penny into it, I NEVER LUBRICATED the bearings ! If you put the scooter on its side and spin the wheel strongly, then it rotates > minutes, and this is at such and such a run! 3) Within a month after the purchase, the rear wheel began to slurp. Nobody knows the reason, it does not affect the dynamics and safety, I scored on it. 4) The decorative plastic protection that protects the folding mechanism from dirt has broken, figs with it :)
- 1. On good fine-grained asphalt, the roll is excellent, it literally flies. 2. Weight, very light. 3. Can be used to transport children (in a standing position) and bags of groceries, the movement is faster and easier, without stress on the hands and nervous system:)
- 1. VERY rattles on surfaces other than fine-grained asphalt. Just very. Sometimes this is a plus, passers-by turn around or come off their phones and watch where they are going. But if you ride for more than half an hour, you want it to be quieter. 2. Reads all the bumps and the quality of the road surface. Paving stones, tiles, cracks, asphalt with medium and large grains - everything will give into your hands and if you ride for more than 30 minutes, then the vibration can be felt long after the ride. I rode yesterday, and my hands are buzzing a little this morning. 3. The deck rotates 360 degrees around the handlebar. You should always keep an eye on it, both folded and unfolded. Since the deck is made of metal, it can hit the ankle very hard, even when you lift the scooter to carry it over a curb or rough road. When folded, it is normal to carry it in a horizontal position so that the deck hangs parallel to the ground, then it does not hang out and does not hit you :) 4. My scooter has a very poorly designed folding mechanism. When I was just picking up the scooter from the point of issue, I watched the video for 5 minutes how people laid it out, because mine didn’t want to go anywhere, the pin just didn’t move to the side and that’s it. It took some effort to unfold it. Now it folds up easier, but decomposing everything is the same problem. Quickly fold the scooter in 3 seconds and jump into the approaching transport - this is still not my option). 5. After the rain, either go on foot, or prepare for the fact that the leg at least up to the knee will be dirty.
