RazoRock BRUCE Plissoft Synthetic Shaving Review

No complaints about the knot. Dries quickly, feels soft, a little flimsy on the back but still usable. Makes quite a lot of foam. The only negative is the sick ugly color of the fiber. I was hoping it was just a bad picture but no he's so ugly in real life.

I like it very much. Choose synthetics because reviews of products made with real animal hair often mentioned that they pierce your skin, at least until they break. This is smooth but firm, pleasant to the touch and has no break-in period. If you're thinking about switching to a safety razor instead of disposable razors, do it! The blade sticks out a little more and the head doesn't rotate, but just move slowly and use the right angle and you'll enjoy shaving with safety razor, brush and soap!

My first synthetic and I'm very pleased. There are many types of shaving brushes from many manufacturers. I chose Razorock Bruce for several reasons: 1- Price. If you paid twice as much you would still get a quality brush for little money. The handle is too big for my stand, I have to put it on the brushes to fit, but it doesn't to hold against. The brush has created a hole/open area on the side, almost like some hair has been clipped and opened up. See photo. While this doesn't affect how the brushes work, it just ruins the appeal. Otherwise a nice brush, does not harm the animals. The opening is a bit difficult to get to unless you slap your chin to open it before moving on to the cheek.

This brush makes me regret spending hundreds (yes, hundreds) on a silver badger tip, horsehair and boar brushes. With a total cost of $10-$15 including shipping, this brush is a lot better in terms of performance per dollar. Compared to a good silver nozzle, it is extremely efficient in terms of the amount of soap needed to create a nice lather. It's wonderful, what more can I say, it lathers quickly because of its durability, cleans quickly because it's synthetic. I've been using the exact same brush for a few years (bought it as a spare) and have found it to work just as well as some of my other, more expensive, natural badger hair brushes. I highly recommend this brush.
