Review on RazoRock BRUCE Plissoft Synthetic Shaving by Julie Howard

Revainrating 5 out of 5

You will hardly find a better brush at this price

This brush makes me regret spending hundreds (yes, hundreds) on a silver badger tip, horsehair and boar brushes. With a total cost of $10-$15 including shipping, this brush is a lot better in terms of performance per dollar. Compared to a good silver nozzle, it is extremely efficient in terms of the amount of soap needed to create a nice lather. The bristles are very, very soft and have a good shaft, making them a great alternative to boar bristles. There is another synthetic brush in my "collection" - Muhle Silvertip Fiber Synthetic. All in all I probably prefer this RazoRock brush (albeit a little), this brush is around $70-80. The sevenfold difference in cost is not justified by the performance of the two brushes. Looking back on 20/20, if I had bought the RazoRock many years ago I probably would have stopped trying new brushes long ago. This is a very good brush for beginners and those with wet shaving experience.
