Worked fine initially, then failed

Rarely used to download XQD maps on PC and Mac. After 9 months the XQD slot failed. The SD slot was still working, but it's useless without the XQD slot.

Works perfectly! Very happy to be able to read XQD and SD at the same time

I was skeptical because I bought it when there were no reviews but I took a chance. It actually works very well! At the same time I did the following and it still worked perfectly: Inserted an XQD card, an SD card and then an optional dual SD reader into a USB slot with 2 SD cards loaded in it - and a USB port read all 4 cards - it was cool! Basically I just managed to read XQD and SD at the same time from the same USB port. USB 3 speeds, so all good. I think time will tell on durability so…

I bought it to read XQD and it works fine. I like the inclusion of USB on the front. It makes my desktop much cleaner and easier.

AVOID - (xcd slot error)

I haven't used this article more than 1/2 dozen times (my camera barely has 1000 slots). All other slots work EXCEPT XQD. The seller responded and eventually returned my money.

Not new. Covered in fingerprints

Reader appears to work although it is difficult to insert and remove the XQD card as it is very tight. It took me a few tries to get my computer to recognize the card, but it worked. What's worrying is that it's definitely not new. The reader's silver surface is covered in fingerprints, which tells me the device has been used before and is likely a return.

For the sake of focusing on memory card reader

Not working. Period. I was also afraid it would ruin my expensive card. Please heed my warning and just buy a legitimate reader. I would rate this a 0 out of 5 but
