No wires are needed for this powerpoint clicker instead you just need to plug and play and you are good to go. Advance slides intuitively with the forward and back buttons. The PR-819 presentation clicker works with all projectors however the laser pointer is not designed for LED screens. For Mac users you may need a USB C adapter to connect the presentation remote to Mac laptops from 2016 onwards. With RF Technology you have a wireless remote control distance range of up to 50 feet, so you are able to engage your audience without restriction. Failed to Impress: Disappointing Presentation Device

Based on our own experience, this electronics-based device didn't live up to our expectations. While it did offer some decent features, the overall performance was lacking. The device frequently froze and required constant troubleshooting to function properly. On the plus side, it was lightweight and portable. Unfortunately, these minor positives didn't outweigh the negatives. We suggest looking elsewhere for a reliable and efficient presentation device.

The Perfect Slide Clicker

All I can say is that it does its job flawlessly. The USB plugin loaded by itself on both my Windows 10 machine and a dumb ChromeBook terminal. The device is comfortable to hold and the buttons work smoothly. I've been using it for a few days now and the batteries are still good. As stated in the instructions, the up/down buttons work on both systems, but the open/close function only works on Windows.
