I have been gathering costume pieces for things like going to the Renaissance Festival, running Dungeons & Dragons games, etc. I bought these pants hoping they would be a good base for my costumes, crossing my fingers that I wouldn't have the same issue I'd seen from other reviewers.Alas, I did have that same issue. I lift regularly so in fairness I have bigger calves than most, but these pants are wayyyyy too skinny in the calf. The pants are not suitable for athletic activities!

It fits okay, but the calves are ridiculously small. My friends make fun of my scrawny calves and they don't fit. I had to rip them to fit in. The pants look good though.

Terrible quality feeling fabric and zero stretch. Can't fit calves through the banded cuff portion, even when they're loosened all the way. Maybe buy a much bigger size or avoid all together.

Overall really like these, they’re a decent quality and fit as expected. I’m a 31/32 in pants and a medium fit perfect. Ordered brown and got the exact color in the picture. Very lightweight, which is great for summer events. Only downside is no pockets, but I knew that going into it from other reviews - still wish they could built at least a back pocket in.

While the pants fit well around the waist and thighs. The calf region is not great. If you have large calves then it's probably best to get a size larger and go from there

It's tight on a muscled calf which is uncomfortable but overall fit is loose in almost all the right places. Just a touch long on me.

Not a bad pair of pants for an adventurous style outfit. The only real negative I had with them is the fact that at the very top of the leasing around your calf, the diameter there is a bit smaller and so you can only pull them so far up your leg. Of all the things you would have to size of a pair of pants for, I didn’t expect my calf to have to be the one… And I don’t have big calves!

The fabric quality feels good, but it's just that the ankle part was too tight. Look at the pictures and you can see that it still doesn't fit 100% on my wrists (just as a demonstration). I'm M but i believe i should order an L or XL just to make sure they close.Might it be a manufacturing issue? there's no way anyone, no matter how thing your calves are, would fit their legs.

These pants fit exactly how I needed and wanted them to. I am 6'5 tall and average build, so I have to really pay attention to the size of what I am getting. Since I looked at the measurements of the size chart I was able to get the size I needed and the pants fit like a dream

The banded portion is very small proportionally to the rest of the leg and comes up further on the calf then expected. It was difficult to pull them on over my heel. Waist, seat and thigh were good, but the fit on the calf almost necessitated going a size larger. If you have large calves, go a size bigger!

I like the product for what it is and if the sizing was easier to understand then I’d like the product even more. I wasn’t able to properly wear them because the bottom part is way too tight but the upper part is way too loose

It was bought for my daughter to wear as part of a costume for school. but she now lives in them every chance she gets! I went a size up and I'm glad I did. I usually fit it off my husband cause we love his baggies clothes. lol. so instead of a large that he normally wears we went with and xlarge. Fits perfectly!
