Conforms to product description

Glad I bought this instead of the harsh chemical alternative! If you're planning on reupholstering your own piece of furniture, take a look at a small piece of fabric, because one type of material (duckcotton, aka canvas linen) we used is stretchy. But then again, I'm glad I bought this!

Not recommended. in Housewares

I bought a large bottle for my new connection because it was advertised as non-toxic. Following the directions on the bottle, I applied two coats and gave plenty of time to dry. The first time my dog climbed onto the couch he left a huge wet stain from licking his paws so it wasn't effective. Also, the water doesn't wash off as advertised. I will not buy it again nor recommend it. I only gave two stars because it didn't have a strong smell and I could use it indoors.

Allows liquids (including red wine) to coagulate instead of being absorbed!

We bought these and also the Ultraguard which is also highly rated. We rented a beach house and the sofas are upholstered in designer fabrics, so we wanted to protect them. We took the sofa fabric side by side and treated one side with RepelWell and the other side with Ultraguard. Both got beads when we spilled wine on them, but RepelWell did the best job of preventing red wine from soiling the white part of the diaper. Also, it hasn't changed the look of the fabric or the feel of the fabric…
