Very disappointed with these batteries. I bought 2 packs in January 2019 and by August 2019 they were both dead. Only used 8 months. They were used in a flashlight and a saw. One died after 6 months and the last one had just died. You can hear something loose in the battery compartment. I will try another brand.

These batteries are better than the original batteries but cheaper. They arrived (surprisingly) fully charged. It takes longer to charge than the Porter Cable brand packs I've replaced. I can't really attest to longevity as I haven't had it long. I just didn't want to downgrade. If they prove me wrong, I'll go back to editing.

Batteries work well when freshly charged, but if charged and then put away (on a garage shelf, NOT on cement) for even a day, they will run out of energy . . . Let's just say they don't last very long at all - they don't last very long anyway, but when pre-charged and not kept in a charger they are very disappointing.

I haven't used them long enough to judge durability but they smell a little funny. They work though, so we'll see if they hold up. The battery life seems to be average, although I need more time to generate more data. The price was right and I wanted to get more out of my old porter cable tools so they would be a good choice to replace my dead old PC batteries from another era.

I've had Porter Cable tools for a long time and old batteries don't hold much charge. charge longer. I charged them and they worked great 1 time. Since then they have not charged. I would rather spend money on new power tools than spend time on these batteries. Do not buy if you cannot return immediately. Unfortunately I didn't use them much until recently and found that they don't charge.
