It seems to be holding up

That's right, not an exact replacement for the hose on my Hansgrohe kitchen faucet. but my original hose leaked right at the joint of the pipe. This VERY inexpensive hose seems to do the trick and works great and actually seems to slide a little easier than the original Hansgrohe all metal hose. Only time will tell - but so far so good!

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Reliability

A failure mode I wasn't prepared for.

This is a quick and easy fix to a problem I wasn't expecting. Perhaps flexible spray hoses will fail - I don't think you should be surprised. But who's ready for a sudden dip under the kitchen sink? The good side is that this is a very easy fix. Next time I'll buy another one and hang it under the sink.

  • Pleasant

Great as a replacement for the Costco faucet

This item is perfect to buy at Costco. The hardest part was getting it through the faucet and into the appropriate hole around the hot/cold water lines to the faucet. Tip: You can remove the entire top of the faucet and don't need to pull the faucet under the sink (watch videos on You Tube or google it). Is more flexible and lighter than originally intended

Livens up my Hansgrohe faucet.

I noticed a leak through the cover of the original hose. The price corresponds to this spare part. He arrived the next day and was looking forward to getting back to work. It was a bit difficult for me to feed a new one through the tap. It's synthetic mesh on the outside rather than a metal shell, so it's more flexible and is like pushing cooked spaghetti noodles through a hole. After some tossing and turning, it was finally over. I connected and now I have no leaks.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Perfect fit for Costco Hansgrohe faucet

I bought my Hansgrohe kitchen faucet from Costco about 5 years ago. Since then I have often seen them for sale. But now my faucet hose was leaking through the metal material, indicating the plastic line inside had failed. I checked the Costco website to see if I could find the model number but I had bad luck but then I saw that they had attached a PDF of the owner's manual so I opened it and they had a parts list. I was able to match the part number in the PDF to this one on Revain. Even though

  • Great design
Cons

Fits as expected, works, more flexible

Much cheaper than the original replacement tube. It was perfect for my setup. You can find videos online that will tell you the steps, it's not difficult. I used some food grade silicone gel lube on the joints/O-rings. I also used a small amount of lube to lubricate the section of tubing that goes through the spout. The outer shell is NOT metal, but a strong nylon webbing. So it is not known how long the longevity will be. However, the expensive original Hansgrohe hose did NOT last forever, so…

Good news bad news

Good news first, it matched my Costco Hansgrohe allegro e perfectly and was a quick and easy swap. Disconnect the weight from the old hose, disconnect the quick connector by pressing the buttons on it and pulling out the brass end. Then pull the hose up and out. After removing the hose, remove the spray head and remove the ring and fine wire mesh from the old hose to use with the new hose. Assemble the tap with the new hose in reverse order. Now the bad news, it's nothing like the original…

So far so good: shower hoses for faucets

Bought a Hansgrohe Allegro E faucet at Costco many years ago. I noticed a leak when turning on the vaporizer and at first thought it might be a defective o-ring or gasket in the grip. On inspection both looked very good, so I assumed the leak could be in the hose liner. After searching the Hansgrohe website by part number I found this product and it seemed to fit the bill. Replacing the old hose was very easy - took about 5 minutes. There are lots of videos on You Tube but basically the biggest
