Description of ๐Ÿท Repour Wine Saver (4-Pack) - Wine Preserver and Stopper - Eliminates Oxygen, Maintaining Freshness of Wine

Repour is designed around a standard 750ML bottle of wine under the assumption of 5 5-ounce pours and around its ability to absorb the oxygen from 1500ML of air. Material inside the stopper continuously removes all of the oxygen from the air above the wine and from the wine itself, completely stopping the degradation process. As Repour works to remove the oxygen, it also depleting its active ingredient - which is why its use is not unlimited. Other wine preservation products use air displacement, which reduces the oxygen but doesn't eliminate it, so they will keep your wine fresh for a few days at most. Repour will keep your favorite wine fresh for days, weeks, or months!.

An inexpensive way to keep wine fresh. Saves you money.

This is great as I drink wine slowly. I can sometimes keep a bottle in the fridge for months and then it's no longer good. I had a bottle that I drank for almost a month!. Still fresh taste. I threw it away because I was ready to go from grigio to a gorgeous red. I definitely recommend this product for people who end up wasting wine by not emptying their bottles quickly. Good price for what is included. I wish I had known about this product a long time ago.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

I love it! - Kitchen Utensils and Gadgets

Last week I opened a bottle of Pinot Grigio (my favourite) and only drank one glass, which is typical for me. My husband doesn't like white wine so I only have it at home. Just got back tonight (a week from now) and it tastes like I just opened a bottle. This is huge for me as I would normally have to throw the bottle away after three days. I just capped the bottle with Repour and am looking forward to fresh wine next week. This is a really big improvement in how I can enjoy my wine whileโ€ฆ

The best way to preserve wine! Wine doesn't spoil!

I love love love Repour! The wine does not spoil, simple and understandable. We use it at my coffee shop and I've saved hundreds of dollars over the past few months without throwing away a single bottle. I've started using Repour at home and it's great. I can comfortably have more than one bottle at a time and not have to worry about one of them going bad. We only occasionally drink white wines with guests, so we save the whites for the next visit and don't throw them away. Serious. I drinkโ€ฆ

Wine Preservation Method

I've tried many methods and Repour is still the best. I've been using it daily for many months. In comparison, in my experience, the taste of an open cooler bottle (medium bodied, new red) degrades per day by: 30% (regular cork), 20% (vacuum or gas seal) and 10% (repour), with speed accelerating wear himself every day. Of course, the rate of deterioration is higher in older wines (10+ years), lighter reds and whites in ascending order. So I completely switched to Repour. I haven't tried it onโ€ฆ

Not for consumers. ONE TIME USE - not stable, interacts with wine

First, they add a metallic character to wine. Second, they're not sustainable - they say they recycle packs of 72 or something for you, good luck tracking for three months or at the bar. They're apparently meant for restaurants and bars, but IMO they're not intended for home use and I don't see any bars paying that much to keep $20 bottles of wine "fresh". I had a bottle of Croatina grapes from Piedmont. , I wanted it by day two, it was spoiled to compete with the undrinkable "oxygen" nature of

Pros
  • High marks for hold and shelf life from testers
Cons
  • Not for everyone

There was an unpleasant smell and taste. Maybe defective?

Received 4 packs and was dying to try them. The first two bottles I tried seemed to give off an odd chalky/musty/loamy smell (unlike anything I've ever smelled before, so I can't exactly describe it). It wasn't terrible, but definitely not good. By the way, I used them for their intended purpose - I poured a glass, put a cork in immediately, only one cork per bottle. The smell always seemed to be strongest after the second day. Everything was fine after one day of use, but everything went badโ€ฆ
