3 months in use and this is what I got. Sitting in the house and felt something burning. Thank goodness I was in the house when I turned the corner, the Turtle's Heat bulb shorted out and was SMOKE! This is the second to do this before the bulb was dead! If you don't want to kill your pets and burn down your house, run from these lamps!

These heat lamps look beautiful. I use them with ceramic bulbs on my snake and they work/heat up quickly and well. While I was at work, my cat somehow got into the vivarium and spanked you. It was a little off the wooden floor but held up (only slightly dented on the edge) and protected the bulb so it wouldn't break.

This product works well but we dented it we just bent it as we didn't have time to send it back. The packaging itself was undamaged and left the factory in this form. Overall I would give 5 stars if it hadn't been damaged like it came from the factory. I use these for day and night lights for my ball python, love that they have a heat indicator on the sides so you know they are hot. Do not touch!

Order 4, received delivery confirmation on the 2nd. 1 died after a few days of use. Decided to give them a break and get a replacement. Worked 2 more days and those who died last night. So once again 1 of my ball pythons got cold. I wish I could bring back the other 3 or at least 2 more dead. Generally they work well BUT the ceramic base tends to get lost when removing the bulb. In the end, the base got completely lost, only spinning when I tried to pull out a blown lightbulb (which happens quite often, but those are lightbulbs). I had to try to grab it in an odd way and push at an angle to get the bulbs out and eventually one day the wires at the base twisted and broke.
