It only worked a couple of times during testing, then stopped working.

I was very happy about this request. I saw demo videos online and ordered one and if it works I would buy one for each of our machines. When I received it I tested the shard on a wooden surface and indeed it made a good impression. I tried two more times, but after the third time the striker wouldn't reset. I pressed it a couple of times and it hooked up and hit about every 5th or 6th time. Then he hit where he couldn't hit at all. I contacted the company through the warranty form on their…

A compact escape tool.

This is one of those items that you hope you'll need one day, but when you do need them, they're priceless. So my rating is based on my inspection, not performance. So far I haven't had to use it. Observations: Size: This is the most compact escape tool I've seen. You can attach it to your keychain and carry it around with you. Window breaker hammer: The window breaker feature is a recessed, spring-loaded ball. I pressed the tip against my arm and it delivered a painful blow that would surely…

Resqme Razor Blade Window Punch Keyring

I recently ordered this product from Revain to carry keys for me and my wife just for that extra sense of security. Just knowing that if, god forbid, something happens to the car and she or I need to either cut the seat belt or break one of the windows, we have the option right on our keychain and within our reach. I really think this works great as a gift, but it also makes a great purchase for yourself and family members. I personally bought one pack, but they also come in two packs I think…

Comfortable but thin, ideal for civilians!

I don't think this will work again but it could definitely save your life or the life of anyone you might meet. As a first responder, I know how important it is to have these tools close at hand. Personally, I have much better tools most of the time, but I'm glad I took them with me for emergencies when I'm not in the car. I know this will work one day and most people don't have access to real windows hits. That's as close as possible to legal possession, and I'm not sure even that is legal in…

Useful.Compact.Inexpensive.Why not?

I am a firefighter and have used this tool many times in my job over the years and it works very well. There are a few points that should be explained to every buyer. 1) Wear gloves if possible! You have to press it against the window with some force to activate it, and it's easy for your hand to keep moving forward once it breaks. sometimes just a hole surrounded by broken glass, sharp, painful. If you don't have gloves, make a conscious effort not to move forward if the glass gives way. 2)…

This mostly works.

I have used several different types of shards so I hope I can give you some insight into this particular one. If you don't get a bad block, most windows should break, but not necessarily on the first try. It also depends on where you place the device. The smallest corner of a window is the most efficient place to use broken glass. To check that the block is actually ejecting the shards (i.e. not defective), pull on this part with your fingers while keeping them out of the way. from a hole. If…
