***Update 08/20/19*** After much searching and troubleshooting I had to switch to another computer to burn SD cards for zero pi in a GPi case. My main desktop must have misspelled maps, which is what caused most of the freezing issues. It still happens occasionally, but I don't think it's the GPi case itself at the moment. Although the case seems sensitive to a very good connection between the Pi Zero and the case. There are several possible points of failure that should ideally be connected…
