Saves time but tastes bland

This is a great product that has saved a lot of cleaning time. I would do almost anything - and I mean almost anything - not to clean the slow cooker. However, I'm not sure if we'll be reordering them once we've used them up. And here's why: the food seems bland. (I guess that shouldn't have surprised me, but it was.) Meat and vegetables don't come in direct contact with the heating surface, so they don't burn as nicely, adding flavor to the dish. The food comes out almost as if you just put it

Make it at night and throw in a slow cooker in the morning!

I love these bags! They not only make cleaning easier, but also the preparation! The night before, I put the bag in the slow cooker, put everything in the bag, then tie it with a twist and put it in the fridge overnight. Anything can be marinated overnight and doesn't take up nearly as much space as a whole pot in the fridge. The next morning I just take it out of the fridge, throw it in the slow cooker and it's ready in less than 10 seconds! These bags make it very easy to clean the slow…

Not for intended use

I was so disappointed with this product as it didn't do the job. The whole reason I bought this product was that it "eliminates" the cleaning. I was so excited to use it in my new pan but when I went to remove the foil there were spots on the pan where the beef or beef broth or whatever had spilled out. I have no idea how this was possible because there were no holes or anything in the packaging when I used it. So "no tidying up” became "little tidying up”. It's still far easier to just run a…

I love these things

I love these things! They are perfect for my multi cooker. All you have to do is pop open the liner, place it in the multicooker and tuck in the edges to keep it secure. Anyone who has ever cooked in a slow cooker knows how tedious it can be to clean. Sometimes it leaves all sorts of baked-on residue that needs soaking to loosen. I spent ages cleaning up all the leftover food. That's the end of it all! When I'm done cooking, I just pick up the edges of the liner and throw it in the trash. It…

Bag works well with most multi cookers

Having tried almost all branded and unbranded multi cooker bags, I was a bit apprehensive about trying a different one. Three years later, this is the only branded slow cooker bag I will use. No need to pour water into the multicooker insert or any other nonsense of that kind. Just open the bag, align the multicooker insert and fill it with food. I've used this on high and low boils with no side effects. Food cooks just as well without the liner. Having tried this with various brands of multi…

Judging by the slow cooker, evil no longer exists!

Seriously, just buy this product. This is life saving. I first found this item at a local supermarket and yes, my husband gave me a glare and expressed concern about "cooking food in a plastic bag". I insisted, and now it's a regular part of our household. So if we're reviewing a 4-pack, we're using about 2 a week. I love the slow cooker for its lightness, but I dread the cleaning because a) we don't have a dishwasher, b) our apartment is the size of a shoebox, and c) our slow cooker is a 6-7…
