The night before, I put the bag in the slow cooker, put everything in the bag, then tie it with a twist and put it in the fridge overnight. Anything can be marinated overnight and doesn't take up nearly as much space as a whole pot in the fridge. I was so disappointed with this product as it didn't do the job. The whole reason I bought this product was that it "eliminates" the cleaning. I was so excited to use it in my new pan but when I went to remove the foil there were spots on the pan where the beef or beef broth or whatever had spilled out. I love these things! They are perfect for my multi cooker. All you have to do is pop open the liner, place it in the multicooker and tuck in the edges to keep it secure.
