Comfortable music playback at low and high volume. I am impressed.

I've searched long and hard for a powered desktop speaker that will fill the kitchen with sound and retain accurate sonic detail even at higher volumes, and I settled on the Riva Festival. The sound of Riva's Festial was better than I had hoped. The frequency response sounds precise and smooth, without false boomy bass. The speaker cabinet is heavy and sluggish, which contributes to loud and accurate sound reproduction, while the 3-way active driver array makes playback more immersive…

Great sound, but Wi-Fi connection issues are a problem

We did a lot of research and loved this speaker, but after weeks of frustrating connection issues we're bringing it back. The speaker has to connect to Wi-Fi before it can play music through *any* input (it doesn't just let us choose Bluetooth, Auxiliary or Optical - it has to find a wireless signal first) and the connection is very unreliable. . Sometimes it connected right away, but more often it didn't connect at all. We've read the instructions and asked the RIVA online support community…

Outstanding speakers!

The RIVA Festival Wireless Multi-Room Speaker System has a sleek and understated look, a pleasing weight and smooth lines. The design is pleasing to the eye and the whole unit looks well constructed and elegant. The physical controls on the speaker are very intuitive and easy to use, along with an informative indicator light showing the speaker's status. The size is large enough for powerful sound projection, yet easy to handle and compact, not bulky at all. The whole installation is very quick
