Repaired my 2008 Jetta

As other reviewers have noted, the wire on this part is shorter than the OEM O2 sensor, but fits very well. I was concerned about a universal O2 sensor for my Jetta but took the risk for less than half the cost. I am happy to report that this one cleared my error codes and has been running for a week now with no problems.

Fairly easy to install

This 02 sensor was delivered quickly. Arrived in a well packed box, the product was bubble wrapped and packed in a bag. I bought it because my car had a "thin" code. The electronics cable is significantly shorter than the original cable, but can be removed and still mounted in standard wire harness clamps. You will need a puller 02 to remove the sensor and install a new one.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME

Let me clarify that the first thing I had to return I had to send back, the replacement was delivered very quickly but a quick replacement doesn't matter when the O2 Sensor you are replacing is junk ie I did 3500 miles in the first and 2700 in the second. Now I'm paying full price at the parts store today, mainly because this is the 3rd time in 5 months I've changed this sensor and I don't want to do it again. This sensor is junk

Worked but not for long

I was afraid it wouldn't work because of other reviews. But it happened. People said it wouldn't work on their Ford Focus, but Revains auto parts compatibility told me otherwise. I took a chance due to the low price and it worked fine. Unfortunately it hasn't been driven much since then. So I can't give a full review yet. Btw, the car I bought it for is a 2012 Focus. MK3 I think. Update: Took about 3 or 4 weeks before the same code showed up again. Absolutely terrible.

Good feature - short wiring

Installed on a Jetta MkV with a 2.5 liter engine. Suitable for upper sensor (row 1/sensor 1). The sensor has been driven a few hundred miles and appears to be working - no check engine lights or other signs of problems. Interconnects). The only downside is that the wiring is about six inches shorter than stock. It is enough and does not interfere with anything else, but you cannot use all the factory clamps. Attached are photos to compare with the standard sensor and to point out the two clips…
