Looked promising until I tried using an existing wheel arch hook. You will NOT be able to hook the wheel as they are pictured with an existing hook. This cannot work on any machine. If you put velcro on the bumper I think it might work. BUT DOESN'T WORK ON THE BIKE

I promise. Elastic bands are a handy idea. In general, it is made of relatively durable material, except for the "hook". They're made of cheap plastic. And the type of hooks is not suitable for this purpose. I've never owned a car where these hooks could hook properly. These hooks are for keys, not bumpers. I had to be careful to use the included self-adhesive velcro pads instead of the hooks. This is a red flag.

I bought this specifically for city driving and I love that this item covers the corners of my car where other bumpers do do not do. This is the best full coverage bumper protector you can buy in this price range. However, I made a few modifications. First I turned the clips into ordinary hooks by breaking off a part. Attaching this device to the wheel well is a surefire way to scratch the paintwork. But by turning them into hooks and wrapping them with black electrical tape, you'll get rid of scratches.
