I installed it myself I didn't use velcro, it works perfectly and is very easy to install. I live in New York so bumper guards are a must. Love this product, it won't scratch or damage the bumper, money well spent. I highly recommend this product although it looks cheap but works well. Just wanted to update my review because another car recently hit me from behind (at high speed on a local road). Thanks to this bumper protector, my car was not hurt, although I was hit hard from behind, the bumper protector really saved my car. I can only recommend this bumper protection
