That saved my ass for socket wrench sets

Tires Cowboy must have decided to run my nuts on a rear wheel indefinitely, the nuts were sleeved and the force required only rotated the sleeve on the main nut. I've tried everything to loosen these nuts including an impact wrench. Two didn't budge and I had to tackle the rotors and pads. Finally used rocket head and interrupter and after 2 minutes it was over. The only problem I had was getting the nut out when it was "bitten" by the rocket head. Had to buy a bolt to thread into a nut, clamp…

Tolerate insults and move on!

I saw this on the ProjectFarm YouTube channel and thought it might be worth a try. It worked better than I thought it would and saved me tons of time with those exhaust bolts. 3 stuck in the heads, 1 nut was rounded and 12 bolts were broken. I put 3 sockets through a torture test, to say the least. A 4-foot breaker, a high-torque 1/2-inch Milwaukee fuel shock and some rocking hard with a 3-pound sled. I was shocked as he just kept working and once he takes a bite he won't let go until the bolt…

Some heads do not exactly fit metric screw heads due to SAE sizes and metric sizes.

I bought this whole set of damaged screwdrivers to fix a Japanese car with metric screws and I would rather get a bolt extractor set with metric dimensions only. However, these screw extractors had good reviews and although they fit both metric and SAE screws, I decided to purchase this set when I really only needed a 10mm screw extractor at the time. I found that the 10mm bolt extractor was not tight enough on the bolt to be removed and was therefore useless when attempting to remove that…

Works perfectly! - Power and Hand Tools

Oh my god I'm so glad I got the Rocketsocket I have a lantern outside my house that is a photocell so it turns on and off in the dark The photocell is low to the ground and doesn't work The bolt retaining cap is completely rusted and needs to be replaced I can't turn the bolt to get it out I've tried a bolt extractor which requires drilling through the bolt but it didn't work Needless to say it's ridiculously frustrating and my wife keeps telling me to either fix it or j invite someone who…

Saved our auto repair project

Didn't want to buy it as it's an expensive tool. I've looked for cheaper alternatives but the products are of questionable quality - and I prefer to buy "Made in the USA" products when I can. Purchasing a Rocket Socket was possibly the best amount I have ever spent on an instrument. Intake manifold mounting bolts on a 20 year old engine we are repairing that need to be loosened with an allen wrench. No amount of penetrating oil could weaken them; We can't just get a flame to heat up the area…

I was looking for something that would help me remove a couple of screws holding my scooter's front brakes. I tried a hex wrench which eventually started rounding the hole. Then I tried pliers on them and they started rounding the outside of the screw head. I spent 20-30 minutes during this time with no success.
