I don't know how long the lifespan is but the laces could be a bit longer for a double knot. Also, the heel loop could be enlarged enough to fit the index finger and not the little finger.

My rating will be average at best. Overall, as a Rockport, I expected more arch support and a more comfortable running shoe. I suggest spending your money elsewhere unless it's at the top of your budget.

I've worn Rockports exclusively since the early 1980s. I love the look, fit and light weight of this shoe. I wish they were still the $25 they were when I first started buying them but still a great value for a shoe.

I am very happy with my new Rockports. I wear a size 10, ordered a size 10 and they fit perfectly. They are light, comfortable and have great support.

I bought them for daily walks. Nothing complicated. After about 2 months of use, the heel is already worn out, as you can see in this photo. I don't have a return window so I'm sticking with a poor quality product. I will not buy Rockport again. Also, they are not that comfortable as they are heavy and stiff.

This is a great looking shoe that didn't fit. I think what I received was a factory defect. They were the right size, but the toes rested on the front of the shoe and there was room in the heel. Never had a shoe like this before. This is a problem when buying clothes and shoes online.

I bought these shoes for my husband to wear with khaki shorts because they matched his khaki pants and looked smarter than his regular tennis shoes. He definitely loved her! They look beautiful and are very comfortable. He wears wide shoes so it fits perfectly. Now he's wearing his second pair because he's worn others! I definitely recommend these shoes.

These shoes are almost 3 months old and the stitching on both shoes has frayed and unraveled. The skin peels off and the heel is already thinning. For over $80, you should expect the shoe to last 2 years with normal use. I used them to walk around the area daily, this is unacceptable. I contacted Rockport and they didn't reply at all. Very nice shoes but they must be made in a country where everyone has small feet! I wear men's size 7M but this shoe looked like a child's shoe! I was very disappointed because I had never been able to buy good Rockport shoes before! I have ordered shoes from Rockport in the same size that fit me but no luck! I think that the companies that used to be good here have lost something by producing in other countries!

These shoes look and feel like a pair of New Balance which I love. There is only a little arch support but they are mostly flat on the inside like NB shoes. I have mine in wide and they fit perfectly. My foot doesn't slide in at all. The laces are a little shorter than they should be, almost like regular wide laces, but they can still be tied and kept in a knot all day. In general I am very satisfied. They are comfortable, look great with jeans and are well made.

Apparently Rockport is switching to cheaper manufacturers. This pair is intended to replace shoes of the same model bought a few years ago. Notably, the soles are more flexible than rubber, the laces are almost too short, and the tongue is also shorter than before. It looks more like a cheap fake than the quality shoes you would expect from Rockport.
