🔩 Rocky Mountain Goods Brass Plate Hanger - Heavy Duty Wall Mount Kit for Decorative Plates (8"-11") Review

I had a 9 1/2" flat pan and this hanger didn't fit, although the seller claims 9-11" pans would work. After you have to open the back of the packaging completely, it cannot be presented for a return. Don't waste your time.

This hanger will not stretch to 9" even though it is made to fit 8-10". It was thin and kept flipping over when stretched. I canceled the order because the delivery took so long, but it must have been shipped the same day I canceled the order. It didn't work on my plate, but it might work on a smaller plate.

Plate hangers are getting harder and harder to find in stores. I needed one for a lovely piece of glass art I found at a local antique store. Arrived on time, fits perfectly and even with hanging hardware! Also importantly, I didn't have to travel to multiple locations looking for one like I did the last time I needed one.

The product design in the photo does NOT match the product received. The resulting product design has shorter springs and the brackets do not have attachment loops for attaching the end loops of the spring. but worked hard. I am upset because I paid extra for the specific design shown as advertised in the attached photo comparison. I feel like a victim of a bait and a substitute for the situation. Revane should shell out a few bucks for a mistake.

Useless. I measured my new platters. They are 10 1/2" in diameter. I can't use these hangers though on the back it says the hanger is for 8-11". To make it even remotely work you have to stretch the spring to its limit, to the point where there's a risk of chipping the plate or breaks. Do not buy them if your plate is less than 6" in diameter.

The product fits my needs perfectly and the plate hangs beautifully in my kitchen. Chemicals, etc., contained in the license plate holder that are "shown by California to cause cancer" or something like that. Since we don't interact with the product (touch it, etc.), I didn't worry too much and just washed my hands thoroughly afterwards. But it was still a bit unsettling.

Somehow I overlooked the other bad reviews and thought I was buying a quality product. Not so! They offer 3 sizes to choose from. I chose 7-10" since my record is 7.5". The one I received is 8-11" (this size wasn't in the product name when I bought it, I see it's been added now). It's too big for the record I bought it for , but I've tried stretching it onto an 11" round tray and when you try to stretch it the wires just bend and the springs pop out the other side. The panel I ordered this item for is an inch shorter than the maximum advertised, but I had to stretch the springs a few times to get the hooks onto the panels. I finally made it, but I can imagine that when trying to put this product on a plate, the size given seems too small. It may be better to buy a record hanger with a large maximum. I have several hand-painted porcelain plates that I hang on my kitchen wall. I needed another record holder/hanger so I got this one. The plate is 10-1/4 inches in diameter. This hanger is said to work up to 10 inches so I figured it would be fine and it is. The spring is really strong when stretched that far.
