As other reviews have said, this works but your camera will shake to the limit. Literally. I had to replace the phone 3 times. The first time I thought it was an accident. The second time I understood what was going on. For the third time I went back to the RAM Mount which is clumsy but compatible enough not to damage my phone. I am so disappointed in this product. Well done at first glance. It's all aluminum (code black). The quality of the product is really impressive compared to another mount I bought. Easy assembly thanks to 3 rubber bushings for handlebars of different sizes. However, there is no real backlash for a curved knob or unusually angled handlebar. It may be a good design but the device I received is terrible. I switched all my phone mounts to this system just to use on my motorbike but it almost broke after about 2 weeks of use. I keep my bike clean and dry, but somehow this mount started falling apart shortly after receiving it. The magnet, which should have been an extra mount, fell right out of the center of the mount. After a month of use: This mount doesn't have a vibration dampener, so on a bike that vibrates quite a lot despite the steering wheel (any dual sport or ADV bike) it will kill the camera on the iPhone. I've had 2 replacement cameras in a month with this product and now it's killed the 3rd camera! I missed the Revain return window for this item so I contacted Rokform and got a general immediate response and no one tried to contact me after that. Product packaging and original quality is excellent. I have yet to install or use the product, but it seems to be working as it should. An immediate problem is the lack of an installation guide or a quick start guide. It's pretty simple, but it would be nice to know for sure. Rubber adapters for .875", 1.00" and 1.125". Does that mean that in the standard configuration the mount is designed for 1.25" rods without a rubber adapter? That makes sense, but it does increase the chances of scratching

I prefer this and say I really love the Rockford system and am fully invested in it. BUT I don't understand why the ads keep saying it will CLOSE on the spot. It does NOT stay in place at all. Of course there is a very, very small notch in the system when twisting, but let's just say there is no jam. It is easily removed with very little torque.
