I had previously ordered another scale which was cheap but then realized it was from China. It was crap! This Scum Bug Sponge is AWESOME! I really like it and it looks like it will last a long time. I'll probably be ordering a few more for my pool this summer! RECOMMEND!

I was skeptical but the reviews were good. The limescale in the hot tub was a problem so I threw it away and wiped down the sides of the tub. I came back the next day and found no floating foam or uncomfortable foam from the injectors. A few weeks later it's still clean! No limescale, no foam, no residue on the tub walls. I don't know how it works, but I'm convinced! Buy it!

Waited a long time, just put it in the pool today. I use this in a pool basket along with an insole and in combination they catch almost everything! I turn on the pool pump when cleaning the edges of the pool and with the bug and sock not much gets into the large filter so I don't have to clean it as often. I've found that whatever insects are in the pool, water jumpers and water bugs end up in the pool basket, which is a pretty good way to get rid of them. I had an odd grease stain in my pool and bought this pack thinking I would need more than one sponge for my 30,000 gallon pool. I was wrong, only a sponge is surprisingly effective. Even if I had that much oil in the pool, I would only have to rinse the sponge to use it again. This little white sponge works well and doesn't mess up my water chemistry.
