Simple and it works!

This is a simple fix for mounting a ΒΎ hole cutter on a large router table (using the 2 bushings that come with many routers - e.g. Freud. This does the Work well.) High quality. Simple and works!

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

The pavilion is ok but you will have a hard time finding anything.

shaft is fine, but you will have trouble finding something that fits. Everyone makes spacers and bearings for 5/16 NOT 1/2. It's good quality, but pretty much useless in a router. possibly shapers.

Pros
  • power tools and hand tools
Cons
  • unreliable

Better than I expected

I have a Bosch 2 1/4 HP router on my router table and it worked great with some of the 3/4" hole pilot bits and router bits I've eaten. You must severely slowing down the router I wouldn't say it will replace the shaper I no longer have access to the shaper I used to make the doors for my kitchen and I was in need of making some more fitting doors , and it helped.

Pros
  • Power tool parts and accessories
Cons
  • Problems

Very happy with it for router bits

I have a couple of 3/4" bits with T-sockets for 1/2" spindles that I bought on sale. I don't have a shaper so I decided to buy this gazebo. I was so pleased with the performance of the router bits on my router table that I bought a second one. This mandrel is designed for 1/2" router bits and I think it will work even better with them considering I've used it with 3/4" router bits and T-sleeves. Of course you need a powerful router (mine has 3 1/4 HP) because routers are heavy objects!

Pros
  • Bits
Cons
  • I will add later
