Stupid design is best for spare parts

firstly the hose is a bit short secondly for 2016 FL50 it says it will hold but where there is a quick connect there are two tabs on the tank so not. The best connection you could cut off I would probably do if the hose was longer, wouldn't impress using a Ford quick connector again which is neither impressive nor silly

Pros
  • engine parts
Cons
  • packaging is ugly

not as shown for spare parts

I order twice. I needed this to fix my truck. It showed clamps and a coupler, but all I got was a hose. If I just wanted the hose I could buy the hose cheaper and get the clamps and coupler. but i found it good with everything i need but NO, I HAVE TO BUY CLAMPS AND COUPLING MYSELF. there was an additional charge of $9 on top of that. and 3 more days without my truck making a living so it cost a lot more

Pros
  • hoses and clamps
Cons
  • high price

Good fix for bad design

My V-ribbed belt was making a clicking noise because it was soaked in coolant and needed replacing, but the coolant leak needs to be fixed first. Found this simple solution to replace bad design. I removed the tank to fit a new hose. Pour some Dawn dishwashing liquid into the hose and it will jump right in. I didn't think a second 1" hose clamp was needed. If it starts leaking, I don't put it in. The PVC cutter is good for cutting hoses.

Cons

Silicone is good but parts are missing

I ordered this to finish installing a PCV shutter on another car. All I needed was a silicone socket and I already had other devices. However, when you order your Ford, be prepared that it will come with no clamps or coupler. Other reviewers stated that it was missing hardware after several backorders. I'm not returning it for two reasons: I will use it as is and I don't want anyone to receive my returned and incomplete set once it's back in circulation. I hope it helps!

Fixed problem with engines and engine parts

Fixed antifreeze leak in my F-150 coolant bottle, silicone hose is very tight in bottle connector. I heated the hose in a cup of boiling water and put some grease on the prongs, it was very difficult to put on but it doesn't fall off after I clamp the hose. Do not doubt this product, it is excellent and will completely solve the problem of the original hose leak. If your truck has this problem, just buy it and install it. NO, I was not paid for my review, I paid for and installed it myself. GOT

Pros
  • Replacement parts
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Great concept, poor execution

This product is definitely a great concept but those who make it have never had to build it. I spent two hours fighting this thing. I had to remove the tank, lube, fairing etc and it still doesn't work. I'm very good at mechanics so sorry for the newbie trying. Plus, it's a $30+ truck. No one wants a bright white stamp on a rubber knee unless Ford is into it. Long story short, this thing doesn't fit on a truck, so I had to flip everything (don't cut the smaller side first). There is a second…
