Great boxing! We bought it four years ago, and during this time I have already dashed off about 60,000 km with it when traveling to Europe. Boxing is quiet, up to 110 practically does not make itself felt. And in the rain, moisture never got inside at all. Before a trip to Europe, I set a speed limit on my on-board computer (as if for winter tires) at 160, I drove at such a speed on the autobahns in Germany for hours - very reliable, because the base with fasteners in this box is metal, not plastic, as on most boxes, and this is a guarantee in many ways that the box will not fly away at speed. The box is wide and moderately high, bags become large not along, but across the box, and there are really a lot of them! And there is enough space to put something light on top of the bags. For us, boxing is salvation, our trunk is small, two car refrigerators always live there on trips and every necessary little thing. For everything else - boxing on the roof. Thule is reliable, this is the main thing in long-distance travel for 9-10 thousand mileage per month.
There are no problems with installation - I do it all alone, although, I must say, I have to strain sometimes - I keep it in the garage on a specially built shelf, but in order to get down from my floor and go outside, I lay out the seats in the car, take it off resting the center of the box on my head and supporting it with both hands on the sides, I squat and push it into the pre-opened trunk of the SUV, push it onto the unfolded seats and thus go outside, where I take it out and install it on the crossbars again alone. weight allows.
The paintwork is excellent, nothing will peel off anywhere. Locks are convenient, on both sides. In general, just no problems for four years and about 60,000 miles.
