Danger Will Robinson

I have ordered 4 of these to replace the power supplies in my Tascam X48 recorders. The first worked fine. The second blew up the motherboard in a machine. The third blew up the motherboard of the second machine. I won't go anywhere near the fourth, and neither should you. My loss is significant and it will be difficult to recover from it.

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • Annoying

Good price. A good product.

Do your homework. How many watts do you need? GPU, CPU, overclocking? HHD, SSD, fans, pumps and LEDs. Example. AMD Ryzen 7 2700X consumes 105W without overclocking. Then add 225W for the RX590. When I used parts of max power for my build. I found that I needed 375 watts for everything. How many amps on the 12V rail? You will always need at least 30. Always take more than your max to keep your PSU running in a comfortable range. So I have 500 watts. If you want, instead of doing all the…

Good Basic PSU - Computer parts

I have a very large Fractal Design PC case, wide open front and top with easy to clean dust filters. The cables on this device barely reached the designated ports on the ATX mobile device, and there was no way to hide any of them. My build is not exposed so no problem. Just worth my 2 cents.

Pros
  • Only positive
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Died a week later in a new build

Installed this PSU in my new build. I usually turn off the power after turning off the PC. A week later it was dead. Videos and photos are uploaded to show I went to the nearest PC repair shop to test it and compare it to a working PSU.

Pros
  • fingers crossed
Cons
  • crumpled

Terrible product for internal power supplies

Can't find any extra power cables for this thing. I even contacted the manufacturer and the cables sent do not work. I would never knowingly purchase any other Rosewill product.

Pros
  • Happy so far
Cons
  • Many things

Some cables are a bit short and my item was defective

The plastic latch for the CPU power cable was badly scratched and bent. I would trade the product in if shipping took forever and I had already removed my old power supply and almost finished installing it when I noticed so I just used it as is.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Minor issues
