Rosmax Miniature Detailing Acrylics Watercolors Review

I have been in the art business for over 20 years doing nail painting or terracotta. Let me tell you that this brush set was exactly what I was looking for for a long time. A thin-tipped brush allows you to draw very small details. They are lightweight, easy to clean and the design is perfect for precision hitting. They come in a durable brush holder rolled up in a plastic tube which I love when I travel for work.

I was skeptical about these brushes because they were so cheap; Sometimes at Revain you get what you pay for. However, these little brushes are AMAZING! So I'm not an artist and haven't used them yet but I opened the roller and looked and felt all the brushes. You seem great. The handle forces you to hold the brushes like pencils. I think it's for the exact coloring. They are all very small, thin brushes. No big ones. The only thing I noticed negatively was that the brush sometimes has to be held differently than we would like due to the manual grip. Several brushes are chipping - not like all new brushes, but in a way that indicates poor glue work. One of the bristles came off in pieces. For the price I expected better. Also, the mount sheet is made of that dubious stuff that's a few steps smaller than paper towels. It looks like it will tear easily, but I've had reusable pouches made of the same material that you can buy at the dollar store and they've held up well. Unpleasant texture but likely absorbent. I love spending time painting with paint by number sets, but the 'free' brushes in the set are terrible! The bristles are too soft and flexible. I've bought other brush sets but the bristles lose their shape after a few weeks of use. I tried this set and wow what a difference. If you put 2 of my PBN sets next to each other, you can see which set I painted with other brushes and which set with these brushes. I really like this collection of brushes as I'm painting more and more miniatures from games like Gloomhaven: Jaws of the Lion, Warhammer: Age of Sigmar and similar board adventures.
