Love this light! The clip is strong and holds well. The neck bends and rotates as needed. The brightness can also be adjusted. Overall, I really like this product and might buy a second one.

clamp lamp good quality but wanted to use it for a loft bed. The switch to turn the lamp on and off is 1/2 the length of the cord. Too far from the lamp to be used for this purpose.

Edit Oct This lamp suddenly stopped working after about 8 months. I can't figure out why. I would not recommend buying. Since March I have bought this reading lamp for my son in bed. It attaches to the bed rail but the neck isn't that long so we're having trouble placing it. The on/off switch is further down the cord making it difficult to turn off as the cord runs behind the bed. Overall this is a good lamp for the price.

The lamp is convenient because it doesn't take up space on the surface. The lightbulb stopped working properly after a few months. The lightbulb began to change the lighting mode by itself. It got really annoying. Replaced with a 40 watt bulb, works fine. I really liked the ability to change the lighting mode, so it's a bit of a shame that the bulb stopped working properly, but other than that it's a good lamp.

We needed a lamp to light our turtle terrarium. It should hang down to the side and radiate into the tank. The flexible neck is not strong enough and doesn't hold its shape. It hangs and doesn't stay on. The backlight works, the clamp is strong, the power button works. My son loves green so it was nice to find something other than black or white. It would be frustrating if you wanted him to get caught reading a book because he would just fail.

Needed a lamp to light up the rest of my room as my desk lamp couldn't handle it and it was easy to mount on a shelf I had previously bought. It came with a bulb that lit the whole room fairly well - not too bright but bright enough to do what I needed to. Overall a great product, the clamp was solid and the product feels solid. It's been a few months since I bought it and it's still working so there's nothing not to love! Highly recommended.

bought this to fit an IKEA MALM headboard. I checked Amazon for the widest clip to make sure it would fit - it's wider than a standard table or shelf. The clamp fits snugly, if the headboard was 1mm larger I wouldn't be able to attach the clamp completely snugly and securely. so advertised as 3 inches but actually up to 1.5 for a good fit (see pic). I bought this to have a choice of lighting modes as stated in the product description. However, when I received the lamp, it only had an on/off switch with one type of illumination, white light.
