Couldn't even use the stool. I couldn't tie it at all to keep it open because the strap wasn't long enough for that. Because of this I returned it unused and the seller deducted more than $5 from my refund which is just unacceptable. The item was defective and they took my money for it. Stay away from this seller

Oh my god. Other reviews didn't joke about fixing this stool. I almost had to get on my knees. And once it was attached I didn't have that warm and fluffy feeling that it would stay attached. The fastener does not stay fully in the hole. Only about 3/4 of the way. I use it as a stool with my camp chair so it serves its purpose. I would never trust this clasp if using it on a stool.

This little chair is a handy addition to my backpack! It takes up little or no space, weighs very little (not at all noticeable), but in use it is a very durable chair. It can be easily unfolded and also holds on uneven surfaces. I'm not that big of a guy (150lbs), but even my friends who are a few dozen pounds taller than me sit pretty comfortably and the chair seems to hold them up well (doesn't look cramped). a definite improvement over sitting on the floor, especially when wet!

I bought this stool and a similar one from Coleman for Comicon. Both chairs are lightweight and easily fit in a backpack. I think it works well if you have short legs. If you have long legs, it might be better to sit on the floor or take a big chair. These chairs are definitely not as comfortable as full-size folding chairs, but they're great for the price, size, and weight. I think it's definitely a slightly cheaper version of the Coleman.

Nice and strong to install. Folds away for easy packing with camping gear. I read some reviews that said it was difficult to set up so I was up for a fight but I had no problems with it at all after reading the instructions. Some reviews said it wouldn't go back in a tote bag but then again I had no issues, it fits just right, just won't fall off. I love it. I don't think I'd want to sit an entire ballgame on it, but it's definitely better than any wet rock on a camping trip.

First of all, whoever came up with this is a genius. Ideal for the whole family. It's beautiful, durable and very portable. Installation takes a little effort and there were no instructions, but once you put it together (and realize you won't break it) it will be a lot easier to do next time. First thoughts - looks great! I love the woodland camouflage version. The fabric feels stiff and water-repellent. The tote is made from the same fabric and has a loop in the corner so it can be hung for storage if needed. I also like that it fits easily in a backpack without taking up much space. I bought this stool while traveling for the weekend because sometimes there is nowhere to sit on a nice observation deck. The stool was smaller than I thought it would be, with the seat about a foot off the ground, so it's pretty low (my 5-10 inches) but not where I have to strain (ie 6 inches) to get back up.
