Great value leveling kit

This product was relatively easy to install. I would recommend a penetrating oil, I used PB Blaster on the bolts and torsion wrench for easier removal. As others have said, it makes the ride a bit stiffer, and post-install alignment is a MUST! I had to change tires so I rode for a couple of weeks without crashing and the tire wear was obvious. It would be nice if protective boots were included.

  • Very fast delivery

  • Base required

The best quality

This set is really worth the money. In my '06 Silverado 1500, the ride quality is much better than the Bilstien shocks that come with the z71 package. I've ridden it on dirt trails, lots of rocky terrain, and rough terrain, and the thing is hard and soft at the same time. I erase 33 x 12.50 x 18 with some offset. The truck is now more like a truck. The only thing you want to buy are dusters. I would recommend it to anyone using a truck as a truck there.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • The cable is shorter than others

1 " to 1.5 " lift and leveling on 4WD vehicles

The height difference between this rear axle assembly and the stock unit on a 4x4 wheel is only about an inch or an inch and 1/2. So if you are looking for a 3 inch lifter this is not the kit for you. This is a great $210 kit just for the shocks. My truck now drives much smoother over bumps. The extra things you get with it like longer travel torsion bars also very useful for front end measurement All in all you can't beat it for the money and quality. Don't forget to order the side shock…

Looks good but expensive

Kit arrived in good condition and well packaged. Installed as needed. Made the truck look nice but this kit will make the front suspension as strong as possible. The control levers almost touch the stops, and all the links are at extreme angles. After reading it will cost a lot of money in the future because it will quickly wear out the parts (CV joints, dust boots, etc.) in the front. I was disappointed with the end result. If I had known then what I know now, I would not have bought this kit.

Excellent Lift - Parts

I rarely write reviews but I think this one deserves it. The lift kit arrived in two days, well packaged and double checked. Instructions and YouTube videos made installation easy. I rented a torsion bar tool from AutoZone and installed the front end with new shocks in 20 minutes. The rear took between half an hour and five minutes, mostly because the nuts on my U-bolts wouldn't come loose. Make sure they all break free before fully supporting the co-op. If you get a stillborn nut, lubricate it

Excellent Product - Chassis

This kit and its contents speak for themselves. I'm amazed at how well the kit performed. I would recommend using a ball joint press instead of the cheap torsion tool sold here, it will make the job a lot easier. I would say fitting the front shock takes between an hour and an hour and a half. and 30-45 minutes to complete the back. I didn't remove the tires or throw away the spare tire. This product comes in great packaging and is well made. Everything has good coverage and all devices are in…

AMAZING KIT

I LOVE this alignment kit. This is the first kit I've ever tried on one of my trucks and I'm very happy with the result! It does a really good job of lifting and flattening the front of my Silverado, which looks great! I find the kit quite high quality, even the dampers are better than many say. Not sure how long they will last, but they offer a pretty good ride, not harsh at all. The hardest thing about attaching the keys to the torsion bars is knocking out the old rusty ones, after which they

Buy now stop thinking about it you will thank you later

I have a 2001 GMC Sierra 1500, 4WD with Z71 package. I bought this kit with some caveats that it will actually give me 2 inches. I received the box and it was very nicely wrapped in foam. Took quite a while to install (north of 5 hours) but I did it alone, with 2 jacks and a standard jack (my cargo jack at the port decided to break 2 days before). Power tools are extremely useful along with pneumatic tools, and you'll need a combination of long and short sockets and wrenches. The back end is…

Worth every penny!

, I wanted to raise it a bit to achieve two things: 1) really make my 4x4 look like this (come on, the GM.Z71 was big enough as a standard pickup) and 2) my 285/75/ 16 (33) from friction (this kit achieved the third goal by including shock absorbers replacing the 12 year old originals). So as a bonus I swapped out the dampers. Nice. Now let me get a few things straight. 1) You don't need a "torsion bar removal tool" but I've seen it be safer. I ordered it but returned it to Revain after reading
