There are some great brushes in my watercolor set. I'm not a professional, just enjoy watercolor painting with my grandkids. These brushes do the job and are not expensive.

Used for coloring miniatures. There were several brushes in my set with hairs sticking out that I had to cut off. But as far as cheap multi brush kits go, I really like this stuff because it holds a lot of paint. Will buy again in the future.

One brush had a heavily forked tip. The protectors had to be attached much more tightly to the brush tips to withstand shipping.

The brushes are suitable for beginners but suitable for a basic watercolor set. The brushes come with plastic protection and are in good condition. Although the bristles are cheap and absorb little water, they are sufficient for some small jobs. Because the brushes have very short handles, they are versatile and fit comfortably in many boxes.

I've been looking for brushes that can handle the details I love and they are perfect! They're short so they fit my hand well and give me more control over what I'm doing. They are a bit expensive and the shipping costs are outrageous. I had to think a long time before making this purchase. I will buy these brushes again but not from Revain unless they are in the main mail order program. The brushes themselves are excellent, I recommend. Just received in July 2014. Very fast delivery, nothing damaged or broken. Spread. This packaging has never been opened, so you will need to break off a small piece of plastic to open the packaging. I think the viewer was a bit of a drama queen, split hair ain't bad. Let it dry completely and then wash the soap that was brand new. The harshness of the soap helped reshape the hair. Be aware, you pay for what you get. I was hoping that since the reviews were decent the price was just an added bonus but I was terribly wrong. After two uses, the handles started to separate from the brush head. Not only did this result in paint splattering all over the part I was working on, it also meant I had to either super glue them together or buy new ones elsewhere. I love painting with acrylics and this brush set is more than decent. With 7 brushes this is a pretty good price too as they definitely don't look or feel "cheap". I like the way they are constructed as they are comfortable to hold - not too long and not too short, not too big and definitely not flimsy. Even with carpal tunnel syndrome, I could paint with these brushes for hours without pausing to give my hand/wrist a break from gripping the brush while using it. The zipper is also very useful!
