Description of 🚰 Delta Two Handle Faucet Stem Replacement Pack of 2 - RP24096 Product Review

Brass stem and stainless steel plate add extra strength. Work on both left(hot) and right(cold). Not working for the leakage coming from the failure of rubber seats and springs. RP24097 1/4 turn stop not included. Manufactured by iyax.

Great replacement stem for my Delta faucet

Worked well. The quality seems great. No problems installing. Tip: Be sure to order the part listed for your faucet model.

Seals missing around shaft

Pictures are misleading. One shows valves with spacers. They are needed for the handles to stop at 1/4 turn. Very frustrating.

Bronze Stem Separated From Plastic In Less Than 3 Months

As you can see in the photo, the newly installed stem (right, shiny) has separated from the plastic after less than 3 months of use. Bought in July 2021, today 10/15/2021. Show the old one (left) for comparison. Giving 3 stars because only 1 out of 2 failed. Hopefully the rest will last longer.

But it worked. - faucet handle

So first, after a lot of fiddling, they worked for my Victorian Delta faucet. It says: 1. There is no instruction2. YOU have to remove the clamp from the bottom and rotate the stem 180 degrees for this to work on the cold water side (at least for my faucet). Doesn't include shims needed to limit travel, but you can use old tabs. They seem a bit cheap so we'll see how they hold up over time in hard water conditions.

Poor quality control *DO NOT BUY*

Quality control issue. The stamped piece of metal on the underside of one of the two valves was stamped rendering it inoperable (it didn't even fit in the faucet). Luckily this part of the original was not a point of failure so I was able to pull out the old stem and insert it into the new body and use the new gaskets to complete the repair. And yet I shouldn't have done it. They should have sent me a new part, but I didn't want to put the repair on hold. Update: Not only was one stamped, but…

You might not need it

Our device hasn't changed since '06 so I thought it would be a good idea to do so. There were two faucets just supporting this drip thing and little did I know I thought it was a valve. Well, at the very bottom when you take the valve out, there's a little rubber gasket and spring. Just go with them to the local plumbing. Super cheap. Usually the problem is there, not the valve. New valves usually come with these little guys, but not always. And if you don't need valves. So that's my tip of the
