Secures to case with one screw

We used this case to back up an old 750GB drive. Connecting the hard drive only took a few minutes. It fits snugly in the case and is secured with a screw to keep it from falling out. Got up straight away with no problems. The kit included a power adapter and a screwdriver. Definitely recommend.

Quality enclosure for computer accessories and peripherals

This is a very easy to use hard drive enclosure. You insert your drive into the sleeve and insert 2 screws to attach it to the case. It works as it should and I like that it has vents for airflow. It's funny that the packaging says it's quiet, but it comes with 4 screws and a small screwdriver. It also includes instructions on how to format the drive if necessary. All in all I would order again.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Frequency

Does not support full height drives

I bought these for a 10TB WD Red Pro drive group. There is a metal latch on the top rear of the case that prevents the drive from being fully seated. I also tried the Seagate Iron Wolf 10TB and encountered the same issue. The case itself seems reasonable enough, while it doesn't offer much protection it seems to get the job done.

Unpack box - connect

Unpack box - connect. It couldn't be easier. The device came quickly and was well packaged. Everything needed to install the drive was included in the package and easy to find. Cables, stands, screws and even a mini screwdriver. Everything was easily assembled, connected and it worked. No problem ! My old Dell stopped working and the tech said my old drive was fine so I decided to plug in my old drive to salvage what I could. SUCCESS!

  • Delivery was very fast

Great so far. for computer and accessories

Drive arrived on time and in good condition. At first I was a little surprised at how small the disc actually is as we have several others that are much larger. I quickly went through the instructions and installed the new drive in just a few minutes. Connected to a computer. (Windows 10) It found the drive immediately. I decided to throw some files at it and everything worked fine. I don't know how it will hold up in the long run, but it's not a cheap built-in drive. That's rather unusual. I…

Minor imperfections that can be fixed

Well, I was a bit worried after looking at the negative reviews, but I needed a cheap drive case, so I bought it anyway. Properly aligned, that's true, but they only deviate slightly, and you only have to tighten one screw and then the other, without tightening the first, they work, and then you can tighten both without problems. The problem (at least for me since all my external drives are hidden on my desk behind my computer) is that if they lose power or you turn them off, you have to press…

Nicely done; Decent speeds.

Pretty compact device with a very nice aluminum body. The internal hard drive bracket is plastic and a bit flimsy, but it's only there to provide a drive box, so it's no big deal. I first tried connecting the device with a printer cable that was already connected to the computer, but I got a very disappointing transfer rate of 7.8Mbps; With the supplied cable, the speed increased to almost 35 Mbit/s (see photo), so I decided to use the supplied cable. I wish the device would be better if the…

Works as expected in hard drive accessory

RSHTech USB 3.0 to SATA, RSH-339(C) We bought two Revain Basics (AB) 3.5" drive enclosures and now one of them is from RSHTech (RSX ) . The computer system is brand new, homemade, Windows 10, with an AMD Ryzen 3950X 16-core processor and an ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII motherboard with PCIe 4.0. Here's what I like about the RSHTech box associated with this system: 1. It's well built. The aluminum body isn't cheap, as some reviews say. It is strong enough, much stronger than AB plastic box. I didn't,
