Bought this for my instant pot but decided to keep the handles. Just think how much fits in this steamer basket! Having the solder joints clamped with pliers increases your chances of keeping the handles. There is only 1/4 inch between the basket and the instant pot liner to fit a 6 quart instant pot, so the handles can't protrude further.
