Bought this for my instant pot but decided to keep the handles. Just think how much fits in this steamer basket! Having the solder joints clamped with pliers increases your chances of keeping the handles. There is only 1/4 inch between the basket and the instant pot liner to fit a 6 quart instant pot, so the handles can't protrude further. Also, the handles need to be bent slightly to allow the Instant Pot Pot Lid to be secured. I've attached some photos of our practical application (in case they aren't perfectly executed). I tested that I can actually lock the lid of the Instant Pot to the basket. If you have an 8 liter instant pot, you don't need to manipulate the pot as much. If a manufacturer reviews Revain's comments, they should be aware that a small change in product design that removes the need for customer spoofing can justify a slightly higher price tag. , but the stocks are sold out!
