You do the work!

I ordered these for my 2004 VW Jetta and they work great. Yes they may seem a bit cheap but you get what you pay for. I'm happy with them. They do the job and seem solid enough. Our driveway isn't paved but rocks, so it's nice to just shake out rocks in the car instead of vacuuming them all the time. I was pleased to read other reviews of staples when you take the mats apart. It's true, be careful with them. They can rip rugs apart if you take them apart and are also very sharp (obviously…

Money well spent on floor mats and trunk covers

These floor mats are "installed" in all of our vehicles. Means of transport. These mats fit over the factory floor mats in the passenger compartment and replace the driver's mats. They're well made, have a waterproof base with numerous tabs that effectively grip the surface they're placed on, while still being fairly strong. , they are also thin enough to take the shape of the surface over time. They are easy to clean with a semi-rigid brush. They can be restored to a fairly new look (black is…

2005 Honda Civic Fits - Just OK

I bought these to replace my stock Honda Civic branded floor mats as I have had a huge heel hole in them for the last 6 years. They (on the driver's side) don't fit very well and overlap the far left footpeg a bit. There are also no holes for hanging on car hooks to keep the mat from slipping causing it to slip. I knew this before buying, but the grips should have worked better than they did. All in all, the price was right and I have no regrets. A few improvements could make a big difference…

Not perfect, but worth it!

I bought these for my 2004 Hyundai Elantra. I bought the card new and never changed the mats so they looked pretty bad. I was looking for custom Hyundai floor mats and they were ridiculously expensive! Looks like over $200! So I found her and took her with me. To be honest they don't fit PERFECTLY which of course they won't be because they are universal. The biggest problem is on the driver's side, where it doesn't stick out far enough to the side leaving a few inches of space where you can see

Wrong coloring and bad packaging

The color of these carpets is off. I ordered beige and the coloring is quite matte. Their appearance looks like old dirty carpets. The rugs arrived quickly but were held together with two very large staples and two smaller ones. Removing the staples was easy enough, but it resulted in holes in each of the mats - the two large staples created holes and tears that are noticeable on the two smaller mats. Her weight is pretty solid and not weak at all. If the color was even remotely reminiscent of…

Slips Everywhere

Yes, they cost less than $15 and yes, you get what you pay for. untenable. After five months of ownership, the carpet has a dull appearance and permanent wrinkles. Worst of all, they slip at the slightest pressure. The rear seat mats slip even when there are no passengers behind, only during normal cornering. Most problematic was that I recently took off my shoes while driving (otherwise quickly and safely) only to suddenly find my gas pedal was missing. I had to make a dangerous maneuver to…

Pros

Cons
  • Functionality

These aren't the most durable rugs, but they get the job done. (The original driver's side floor mat that came with my old car was completely worn out and had to be replaced.) The vinyl heel pad is a plus as this collects water, snow, sand etc. anyway the old carpet is worn out . They don't quite fit the (very wrong) driver's side of the old Corolla, but the universal shape works well enough that I simply cut a hole in the mat to accommodate the mat's latch (next to the driver's seat) to keep…
