Poor door seal Closet moths can get under the back of the watering door. In addition, the pouring door only slams, making it difficult to pour out muesli. So it's silly that the container market is so labeled with molded plastic. The prices are overpriced, even the cheapest I could find.

I don't know what fruit loop box they used but you can't fit a family size bag in it. I don't recommend pouring it into a container, it's not 100% airtight and won't let air through. I was just trying to find a way to store the bags so the kids could empty them themselves and keep their cereal fresh, but that's not the case.

They're a bit bigger than I thought they were, but they also pack a lot of space. A regular sized packet of cereal fills them about halfway, so you could probably fit two boxes of the same cereal in one container. It also pours very well, but the opening lid is a bit difficult to open as you have to pull quite hard on it. That's my only complaint, otherwise they're great storage containers.

I wanted to buy very expensive ones because I like things that last forever. They are perfect and half the price. I like that they are clear and not cloudy plastic. I love that they are big enough to fit in a giant cereal box for the whole family. The lid has an excellent seal. It will be very easy for my kids to use these instead of tearing up boxes and bags and half the cereal ends up on the floor. Super happy with this purchase!

We live in Hawaii where it can get humid and I can guarantee we're always battling bugs. These containers are hermetically sealed, which not only keeps the granola crispy, but also prevents small critters from sneaking in. These prices are half of what we can get locally, so we're in that big time. In addition to storing cereal, we use it to make rice, potato chips, and anything else we need to protect against critters and moisture. The fact that they're BPA-free also helps.

I bought these to protect the grains from small critters like sugar ants and the rare but occasional weevil. Unfortunately, they leak at the lid and are therefore worthless to us. I've included a few photos of my "leak test" to illustrate this, but you can just squeeze them together with the pop-up lid closed and you can easily feel the air escaping around the lid. I've wanted a pantry to look right for a long time, but I was never ready to pull the trigger. Because I've had a lot more time at home this year, I was cleaning out my pantry and getting very angry at how much stale cereal I had to throw around. Never again!
