Pads resist slipping while the universal caution symbol and “Caution Wet Floor” message in English and Spanish alert pedestrians. Tablet backing is constructed of corrugated plastic and mounts on flat surface or affixes to floor sign. Each caution sign pad absorbs up to 12 oz. of fluid for robust cleanups. Tear-off pads are constructed of melt-blown polypropylene for added strength and absorbency. Each absorbent pad measures 16-inches long x 12.6-inches wide.

Not Slippery, But Not Effective

This absorbent mat claims to be slip resistant, but it did not soak up the hazardous material as well as other products I`ve used in the past. THE only pro was that it was easy to roll out and cut to size. However, the lack of absorbency made it ineffective in an industrial and scientific setting where spills and leaks are common. Overall, I would not recommend this product for hazardous material handling. .

Pretty Darn Adaptable

They suit my specific needs very well: I have a cat who gets stains on the carpet all the time. I have to squirt a generous amount of urinal remover and then dab the offending material. After the first wipe with paper towels, I apply one of the over-the-spill pads. With high absorbency, they keep the carpet from moisture for a long time. Then I can wash them off and use them again.
