🔦 Rear Spare Tire Mounted Light Mount - Rugged Ridge 11217.02 Review

Gift for my dad. Bought a Jeep and wanted a backup camera. You must purchase this mount for this to work. Came wrong. Another hole needs to be drilled to align the plate. In addition, what good quality. A little annoying.

Installed on my JKU, easy to install, reversed bracket to better center the plate in the spare tire. My only issue with this is that it wobbles a bit where the two halves connect. A few wraps of electrical tape solved that problem for me.

Great item but for my application it was a burlap. This item is strong and very easy to install, I really like it but it's too small for the depth of my bike so I can't use the hitch pin in the normal place. I had to drill another hole to make it work but overall it's a great item.

Does what it's supposed to. Construction and decoration is great. The only thing I would change is the silver "Rugged Ridge" plaque in a prominent place. I didn't mind much, I just flipped it over and counted the license plate to cover that number. Works great, will definitely buy again!

Fits, serves its purpose. I don't really like it 100% because it sticks out so much. Currently mounted on an 8" wide rim with a 3.75" offset. Extends about an inch past the edge of the rim. If you install it like the picture, the plate will hang under the centerline of the wheel. I turned the plate mount upside down (both the middle and corner plate mounts) so that it is now centered on the wheel. It rattles a little.
