Excellent Jeep Twin Strut Mounts

Fits and looks good. Holds two cubic LEDs on my jeep's pillars. Really well made, heavy gauge steel, powder coated to match standard rock guard. Good value for money

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Fairly good

Wiper gap question

The bracket fits great and has a rubber pad on the back to protect the paint, but the passenger side bracket gets in the way of the wiper blade by about a half inch. So you can hear it click every time the wiper turns on. Plan to downsize the passenger side wiper to fix the problem, but this is a design flaw on the RR side.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Minor issues

I bought a new part, but I bought a used one at new price.

I will never buy anything from Extreme Terrain again. I order new mounts and they charged me full new price. When they arrived they were in a battered open box. Used parts and one of the pad seals is missing. If I pay $90 for it, I expect what they promised. I had to believe the reviews that warned me.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons

- 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4 Door - I've had them for about a month and they seem to be working great! There was a problem with a flashlight, it didn't work right away, I had to replace it. Pretty bright, good build quality. You must purchase (separately) two harnesses for each pair of lights.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank

I wish I had the same product as the other 4 reviewers. Once again, I'm wondering if they even have a jeep to measure and fit because mine wasn't even close. The product seems very well made but totally useless as it was sent to me for my 2012 JK, even if I could relocate the brace the holes are so far apart I couldn't screw it all the way in without locking my jeep ruin. See photo.

No spare bolts

Good fit, a bit tight but that's to be expected for a part that mounts on two axles. My only concern is that spare screws are not included. Spare screws are needed as the mount is very thick (which is a good thing). One of my standard screws isn't long enough to fit the bracket, so I'm concerned that some of the other screws might not be making full thread contact. I'll just replace all six. A $6 fix so not a big deal but still annoying that the manufacturer was too cheap to provide the…

Well built, sturdy, powder coated and well packaged

They are very strong and sturdy, made from just over 1/8 inch thick powder coated steel. Perfect fit for 2014 JK Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. thick and comes fitted Great job without scratching the paintwork 4 screws per bracket ensure the top bracket does not vibrate Due to the two screw holes on the sides they do not fit the existing bracket on the A-pillars. I tried mounting on top of the top of the Rigid Industrie A-pillar light bar bracket of the upper windshield but it didn't fit. They're…

difficult conditions. Not a complete sentence. Wrong Holes.

Thick metal with a good finish. However, you will need to buy longer screws to ensure you don't strip the few remaining threads when trying to use the original screws. I bought two packs of 4 screws from Xprite to make sure I had the extra length. One disappointment was the crease at the top that goes to the other two mounting holes. It was bent at an angle of about 90 degrees. The crease had to be bent around the radius of the windshield to ensure the holes were placed correctly. Due to…

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

Installed in 2017 JKUTHE GOODRugged Ridge did a great job making this dual A-pillar LED light bracket. For a mount that crosses two axes, it fits very well. It's durable and you don't have to worry about the light beam bouncing around when you're driving on a rough gravel road. shines almost as good as Rugged Ridge Brackets. In my opinion the only reason you might need a two arm setup is that one set of lights are pointing to the side, the lights are down the alley and the other set points are…
