Not as durable as I would like

It has a dent after playing in the rock garden. I didn't hit it hard, but it did the job and it's a stock diff cover guard. I was trying to save money and now I have to spend more on a stiffer skid plate. You get what you pay for.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

It is black! That is hard! It has holes!

It's built decently, looks the same as Warn and Jeep. The holes match. Screws, as many have said, are 100% useless. Go get new ones. I liked it so much that I bought a second one. The reason I went with this was because I needed to clean the steering components. I use a 2 inch lift with 33 on a 10 foot Rubicon.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Minor flaws

Sturdy and easy to fit

Differential cover Fits well and provides ample protection for the front differential cover. If you run low lift with big tires your steering components will likely work in most aftermarket cases. However, that is not the case with this case. Another plus is that this product is the same thickness as a comparable WARN product but about half the price.

Pros
  • Decent performance

Great Value

I replaced the fasteners with class 8 hex head screws or equivalent on initial installation. It was difficult to insert a wrench in one of the holes. In addition, the sled has survived several strong impacts well. The bolt holes matched the differential case and the flange flatness was good. I chose this option on purpose as other full replacement parts would interfere with the tie rod when fully locked.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Clarity

Massive mounting bolts not so much

is a very strong part and protects the diff very well. The main issue we had was the bolts they sent. They are very soft as installation requires a hex head, but even when torqued to spec when we attempted to remove the rear end, half of the bolt rounded off the heads. We had to use a dremel to cut a slot to use the straight bit on the ratchet to free it.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Hard to tell
