Not if spilling is too much of a problem for a child; However, they are great for warm drinks for older toddlers and children. You have to teach kids not to grab their eyelids, but that's a normal life skill that needs to be learned. They still provide a good splash buffer!

When my order arrived I was so excited because I got it for my youngest son after surgery. Unfortunately I got the size wrong. They are about the size of a cup for rinsing the bathroom after brushing your teeth. They're also insanely thin, unlike my other Munchkin metal mugs. I didn't have a cup either. I got my money back but I was still very disappointed.

Very durable mugs and these lids will save you from burning your hands but be careful if you plan to use these mugs for your everyday coffee, it's more of a kid size, we have one Cup measure used to see if they are really 8 ounce cups and although they hold 8 ounces if you really put that much liquid in them you will SPILL them EVERYWHERE so realistically they hold about 6-7 ounces comfortably .

I was looking for child resistant mugs that wouldn't break if dropped and were comfortable for little hands. When I received them I was happy with the product as they looked like they would match the bill. After three days of use, I found rust on the rim of one of the cups. Absolutely unacceptable, especially since the product description says "no rust". Not a bad product for kids.

Definitely great value for money! The colors are also very strong. The only thing is that the silicone should be a little wider. The metal gets *very hot*. My kids actually put it in the fridge for 5-10 minutes before being comfortable holding it. I expected them to be warm but they definitely need either a wider silicone or a slightly thicker cup. Great little mugs! We have a couple of stainless steel mugs when my son made the switch from bottles and I was planning to buy a few more for him and his cousins and friends when they get here. I don't buy plastic so this was an unbreakable and eco-friendly option! I didn't think I "needed" the lids and ties, but I realized they're great for little hands so kids can keep track of what color their cup is. I love her!

I love the cups. I ordered these as a Christmas present for the little ones in the family. The only problem I had was that they were glued together so tightly that I couldn't pull them apart. I was frustrated and decided to return them. Husband said don't come back. let me try It took all of his strength to twist and turn for several minutes to break even one. Nine of them stick like glue! The cups are beautiful with colorful lids.

I bought these mugs mainly for my little one but occasionally for adults too. I didn't realize that 8oz mugs are filled to the brim - so they're smaller than I expected, but it's still a five-star set. These mugs comfortably hold 6 ounces instead of eight. I needed a set of durable cups to replace the plastic spill-proof cups that looked like they'd survived a neighborhood squirrel fight and the stainless steel seemed pretty strong. This is a good size for our 3 year old and the colored lids and silicone sleeves make it easy for kids to identify their cups. The lids have an opening similar to the lids on take-out coffee cups. They are not airtight and cannot hold a straw, but have the great advantage of not being "chewed" like spout cup lids…
